Legitimate question, if there was not a Maura Isles in the show (like in The Surgeon), would people still ship Jane with a woman, or have her be with Dean?
For my part, I have to say that I would not even watch the show if Sasha Alexander was not in it. I would already be bored of it.
She brings a beautiful comedic value and deep emotional side (when need be) that would not be there if they only kept everyone else but her. It’s like telling me I would have had to watch Xena without Gabrielle. Or Buffy without willow/xander. I simply wouldn’t watch it.
